to the Friends of Kenya board effective June 2006. Sarah was a Health/HIV Volunteer in Kenya from 2001 to 2003 in the Kakamega area.

Now that she has returned to the U.S., Sarah works in the field of mosquito research for malaria prevention.

"I am excited to be on the FOK board and to become involved in the FOK-sponsored development projects in Kenya. It is not easy to stay connected to my life in Kenya now that I am back home working and living the busy life. I love taking time outside of my regular work to think about projects and events that can benefit Kenyan communities and help keep Returned Peace Corps Volunteers involved in our greater Kenyan community."
